National Veterinary Associates (“NVA”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Statement provides you with information about how we collect, use, and share personal information at NVA through our websites, products, mobile applications, or other sites that display this Privacy Statement (the “Sites”).  This Privacy Statement also applies to data gathered from you in person and at any of our pet resorts, veterinary hospitals, or clinics (also, the “Sites”) and when you apply for a job at NVA.

Information We Collect & How We Use It

Personal information is information about You or a combination of information about You that could directly or indirectly be used to identify you.  This includes identifiers like a name, ID number, location data, or factors about physical, genetic, economic, cultural, or social identity. Below is a description of the types of personal information that our Sites collect and process, why we collect and process it, and whether or not we “sell” or “share” personal information. Cookies

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often you visit this site, what pages you visit, and what other sites you used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to improve this site. We also use additional functionality from Google Analytics, including Google Signals Data Collection, Granular Location & Device Data Collection, and Advanced Settings to help us deliver personalized content and offers to you. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use  and the Google Privacy Policy. Personal Information Data Retention Period

We keep your personal information for different lengths of time depending on the type of information and the business and legal requirements. For example, if you are a customer, we keep information that personally identifies you as long as you are receiving our services. If you no longer receive services, we still may need that information for business and legal requirements, such as to comply with your state’s record retention regulations, protect against fraud, or respond to legal requests. Other information is deleted automatically after a set period of time, often set by law, unless we are legally required to hold it longer, such as for pending litigation. We destroy, de-identify, or anonymize the information when it is no longer needed in identifiable form.

This Site and our services are targeted for users in the United States and Canada. Any information you enter on this Site may be transferred outside of the European Union to the United States.
