Janine Miletic - President, NVA General Practice

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) today announced that Janine Miletic has joined the organization as President of NVA’s General Practice business (“NVA GP”) and will become an investor in the business. As President of NVA GP, Miletic will build on the growth and success of NVA’s community of nearly 1,000 premier general practice veterinary hospitals across North America. Ms. Miletic succeeds Sohail Malad, who after a successful tenure at NVA, is departing to pursue other opportunities. He will continue to serve as an advisor to Ms. Miletic and the GP leadership team through August 2024 and remain an investor in the business.

Ms. Miletic will report to Larry Allgaier, Chief Executive Officer of NVA Group, which is comprised of NVA General Practice, Ethos Veterinary Health, NVA Equine and NVA Pet Resorts. Ms. Miletic brings to the role an extensive track record of executive leadership with more than 20 years of experience leading large businesses with a national footprint.

"I am pleased to welcome Janine to the NVA community as we build on the continued industry leadership of NVA GP and advance our mission to be the preferred partner to veterinarians in service of providing the best care to pets and pet parents,” said Mr. Allgaier. “As we embark on this next chapter, Janine will focus on enhancing what NVA GP does best: empowering our passionate and talented teams to deliver the high-quality care and exceptional medicine that improves the lives of pets.”

Mr. Allgaier continued, “NVA GP has experienced remarkable growth and transformation under Sohail’s leadership, and I would like to thank him for his many contributions to the organization. His passion for the industry, leadership and vet-centric approach has enabled NVA GP in recent years to become a leading North American General Practice veterinarian organization.”

“I am inspired by the incredible impact that veterinarians have on our society and honored to join NVA GP at such an exciting moment for our community and our industry,” said Ms. Miletic. “My top priority will be to learn from the NVA GP Leadership Team and our veterinary health care teams to ensure that NVA GP continues to provide the support and expertise needed for the next generation of veterinary care. I look forward to working with Larry, NVA leadership and the talented teams across our organization to enable the continued growth and success of NVA GP.”
