Chief Medical Officer of Ethos Veterinary Health

Stacy Burdick, DVM, MBA, DACVIM (SAIM)

At Ethos Veterinary Health, our specialty and emergency teams are driven by a common goal: to lead the advancement of cutting-edge medicine to extend and improve the lives of pets. As Chief Medical Officer, I will work alongside our Specialty Advisory Board (SAB), our Medical Director's Advancement Council (MDAC), and our medical leaders to elevate and champion our veterinary healthcare teams’ voices throughout the business and the veterinary profession.

After earning my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I completed my internship at VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT, and my residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy at the Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York. I joined the team at Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, to open one of the few Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy services in the country at that time. Wanting to be more involved in the business side of veterinary medicine, I took on the role of Chief of Staff at RBVH and pursued my MBA at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, officially completing the program in 2022. During this time, I also served as Clinical Advisor to Compassion-First Pet Hospitals and was the veterinary voice on their leadership team. My Clinical Advisor role moved to full-time with the integration of Compassion-First Pet Hospitals with NVA. As Chief Medical Officer, Chair of the Specialty Advisory Board (SAB), and leader of the Medical Director's Advancement Council (MDAC), I’m deeply passionate about supporting our specialty and emergency teams in the advancement of medicine.
