Our mission at National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is to improve the comfort and well-being of animals by providing progressive and compassionate care. We’ve done this by creating a community of animal hospitals and pet resorts that share knowledge to achieve sustainable growth across more than 1,400 locations in five countries. For 25 years we’ve adhered to this mission rooted in our shared love of animals and the people who love them. It was this philosophy that drew me to NVA in 2008. Today, I’m honored to serve a community of more than 35,000 people caring for more than 6 million pets per year in our primary care and referral/ER veterinary locations, equine veterinary locations, and our pet resorts (boarding and daycare) in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. With pet ownership rising and demand for pet services accelerating around the globe, I look forward to supporting this growing community as we advance medical excellence for our pets and modernize the client experience for our pet parents.

Throughout my life I’ve found fulfillment at the intersection of building things and serving others. I self-started a business as a teenager and that led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Vermont and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. I spent a decade leading multisite healthcare operations and growth in the human kidney care space with DaVita. As Chief Executive Officer at NVA, I am humbled and privileged to serve and support the NVA community of dedicated caregivers alongside its many talented and purpose-driven leaders.
