Veterinary students learn and grow through clinical experiences, and National Veterinary Associates ("NVA") is proud to be part of their growth. In May 2023, Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) recognized NVA as the 2023 “Clinical Group of the Year” for the vital role they play in preparing LMU-CVM graduates.
LMU-CVM’s clinical year program partners with veterinary hospitals to provide up to 32 weeks of clinical and educational experiences to fourth-year students. NVA has been involved for several years and continues to expand its participation in the clinical affiliate program. The class of 2023 had many hours of learning with NVA – 28 LMU veterinary students received clinical and educational experience at 12 NVA General Practice ("NVA GP") hospitals and 4 Ethos Veterinary Health ("Ethos") specialty and emergency hospitals across 11 states.
“NVA practices provide our students with outstanding opportunities to learn and grow during their clinical year," said LMU-CVM’s Associate Dean of Clinical Relations Mitchell S. Moses DVM, MBA, SHRM-SCP. "They exemplify what a distributive model for clinical training is."
Dr. Moses presented the award to NVA at the LMU-CVM fourth-year student banquet and awards ceremony on Thursday, May 18, in Harrogate, Tennessee.
