Supports New Doctors In: AZ, CA

Fun Fact/Favorite Hobby: I used to manage a movie theater. I even met Prince! He used to rent out the whole place in the middle of the night and as the junior manager, I was the one who always hosted him.

Vet School: University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine

Funniest Client Experience: None of my funny experiences are very G-rated. In fact, most involve the misdirection of bodily fluids and hysterically inappropriate laughter.

Advice for new grads: Set boundaries early. Take care of yourself. You cannot pour from an empty cup. Always close your mouth when expressing anal glands. You can smell an ear infection, but cytology will catch the organisms your nose missed. Never stop learning. Try something new as often as you can. Step out of your comfort zone occasionally, and never hesitate to ask for help!

“Mentorship has deepened my appreciation for veterinary medicine. I am motivated by the enthusiasm of new graduates and I am inspired to help guide them into the practitioners they are destined to become.”
