President and CEO, National Veterinary Associates
NVA was created to serve the needs of an evolving veterinary and animal care profession. That’s why I champion our role as servant leaders; our work goes beyond ourselves. We’re here to support our caregivers with resources, tools and programs that help grow their business, so they can focus on what matters most: the health and well-being of animals. I guide our teams by this approach. It’s at the root of all we do.
Throughout my life, I’ve always found fulfillment in building things. As a teenager, that meant starting my first company and assembling my first executive team (my friends). Later, it meant building a career, first by studying business at the University of Vermont, then earning an MBA from Harvard Business School, and serving in various operations roles serving human health care needs at DaVita, Inc. Since I joined NVA in 2008, it has meant supporting and strengthening this community alongside so many talented servant leaders.
